It is located across from St. Sophia and it built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. After that, we will see the ANCIENT HIPPODROME, the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Visit to HAGIA SOPHIA GRAND MOSQUE: The Hagia Sophia, previously known as the Church of Divine Wisdom, is simply The best of its kind! During the free time we will give when we reach Maşkiye, our guests can spend time in cafes or walk with the beauty of nature. (Breakfast included) After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and depart for Ertugrul Gazi - Sogut City Tour. Ottoman Empire was founded here in 1299, and Ertugrul Gazi, father of the founder of Ottoman Empire Osman Bey, passed away and buried here. We will visit THE TOMB OF ERTUGRUL GAZI. After that we will visit Bilecik Museum originally constructed as a courthouse on the land where a demolished Ottoman building once stood, this large and impressive structure was restored and opened as a museum in 2006. It exhibits both archaeological and ethnographic items in chronological order. Shaykh Edebali Tomb, which was attributed to Sheikh Edebali, who was considered by many to be the philosophic architect of the Ottoman Empire, was built during the time of Orhan Gazi. It has a panoramic view on the cliffs. Orhan Ghazi Mosque built on the edge of a steep cliff, the mosque has the capacity to hold 365 worshipers at the same time. Believed to be built in the early 14th century and only 50 meters from the Edebali Mausoleum, Orhan Ghazi Mosque was restored in 1973. Unlike other mosques, which the minarets are traditionally adjacent to the mosque, the main minaret of Orhan Ghazi Mosque is built on a rock, 30 meters away from the main building.
